essenziale, eppure impreziosita da dettagli come
l’acciaio per la struttura e il nylon dei listelli e il
cuoio del rivestimento per sedile e schienale.
Disegnata nel 1978 da Marco Zanuso è la conferma
di come per il design modernista il tema della
forma sia una funzione ben risolta. E viceversa.
This chair is iconic by defi nition. Light-weight and strikingly
simple, yet embellished with details such as the steel
structure and the nylon slats and the cowhide seat and
backrest upholstery. Designed by Marco Zanuso in 1978,
it confi rms the fact that the theme of form is a well-resolved
function for modernist design. And vice-versa.
