Alla ricerca di tecniche produttive e soluzioni
nuove, assecondando lo spirito creativo
e innovativo che è nel DNA del marchio,
Zafferano ha scoperto a Civita Castellana,
storico borgo viterbese, un prezioso
patrimonio di conoscenze nella lavorazione
delle argille che risale al X secolo a.C. Qui,
le tradizionali tecniche della produzione
artigianale di ceramica si sono tramandate
integralmente, e ancora oggi sono usate nella
creazione di manufatti pregiati, dalla bellezza
senza tempo. Da questa visione condivisa è
nata la partnership con una fabbrica locale
che permette a Zafferano di contare su
una produzione “made in Italy”, realizzata
e decorata a mano su disegno esclusivo o
personalizzata su richiesta.
In the search for new production techniques
and solutions, consistent with the creative and
innovative spirit that are in the brand’s DNA,
Zafferano has identified in the historic village
of Civita Castellana, near Rome, a precious
wealth of knowledge in the art of clay working
dating back to the 10th century BC. Here, the
ancient craft techniques of pottery production
have been handed down in their entirety and
are still used today to create precious artefacts
whose beauty is timeless. This common vision
has encouraged a partnership with one of the
last historic workshops in this district: this
venture allows Zafferano to count on made-in-
Italy manufacturing of objects which are hand-
decorated to exclusive design or customized
on request.
