Jeannie Cho Lee, la prima a conseguire in
Asia il prestigioso titolo di “Master of Wine”,
è una delle persone più influenti nel mondo
del vino, a livello internazionale. Distribuito in
esclusiva in Europa da Zafferano, il set JCL
da lei progettato è composto da tre calici
realizzati a mano e soffiati a bocca in vetro
sonoro superiore. I modelli, tutti leggerissimi,
sono accomunati dalla forma attentamente
studiata dei bevanti, e dal disegno molto
femminile del gambo. Il nome dei tre modelli
- JCL8C, JCL15C e JCL18C - richiama un
elemento importantissimo per una corretta
degustazione: i gradi centigradi a cui il vino
dovrebbe idealmente essere servito, in quello
specifico calice.
The first Asian Master of Wine, Jeannie Cho
Lee is an award-winning author, television host,
wine critic, judge and educator. She was ranked
25th in the Decanter Power List 2013 of the
most influential people in wine. Jeannie has
designed a set of three exquisite wine glasses,
made of fine, lead-free crystal glass, and
exclusively distributed in Europe by Zafferano.
The various versions, hand-made and mouth
blown, all very light, share the same carefully
researched shape of the bowl and the very
feminine design of the stem. The three models
- JCL8C, JCL15C e JCL18C - are named with
the perfect temperature for the wines poured in
mind; a consideration as important as the wine
glass itself.
