A cosy café, no rush, and next to us a good friend who wants to share a really
exciting story. But all we hear are clinking glasses and loud chatter from the
neighbouring table. Well, bad acoustics can be quite annoying. And a sound can
quickly turn into noise. So it’s no surprise that we feel anxious or tense in a noisy
