The two-piece backrest
The lower part of the ACX backrest is a frame construction that provides lumbar support and
optimum air circulation. The upper part has a shell construction, offering great freedom of
movement in the upper back and shoulder area unhindered by a frame. A mesh or knitted
cover is stretched over this structure.
It is only by ingeniously combining the advantages of both constructions – frame and shell –
that the backrest has such a compact design without sacrificing ergonomic comfort. The result
is an inviting yet understated aesthetic.
