DE RERUM NATURA
A project by Gupica
it Con “De Rerum Natura”, Visionnaire prende parte ad
Alcova 2021 con un’installazione immersiva ambientata negli
spazi dell’ex Ospedale Militare di Milano. Il progetto esplora il
legame tra natura e artificio, materia e memoria, in un percorso
sensoriale che mette in dialogo architettura, luce e linguaggio
organico. Protagonista dell’allestimento è la famiglia di lampade
Aracea, disegnata da Gupica, ispirata a una liana tropicale dalle
foglie cuoriformi. Le sue forme scultoree in metallo e vetro
soffiato riflettono una visione poetica e contemporanea della
bellezza, come metafora di una natura fragile ma resistente. La
luce si diffonde in modo delicato, accompagnando lo sguardo
tra le crepe e le stratificazioni del luogo. L’intervento si completa
con superfici specchianti e riflessi cromatici che amplificano il
dialogo tra interno ed esterno, artificiale e organico. Un invito a
rallentare, osservare e restituire valore all’imperfezione, al tempo
e alla trasformazione.
en With De Rerum Natura, Visionnaire took part in Alcova
2021 with an immersive installation set in the former Milan
Military Hospital. The project explores the bond between nature
and artifice, material and memory, through a sensory journey
where architecture, light, and organic language converse. At the
heart of the installation is the Aracea lighting family by Gupica—
sculptural forms in metal and blown glass inspired by a tropical
vine with heart-shaped leaves. These poetic yet contemporary
designs reflect a vision of beauty as a metaphor for a nature that
is both fragile and enduring. The light diffuses gently, drawing
the eye to the cracks and layers of the surrounding space. The
installation is completed by mirrored surfaces and chromatic
reflections, amplifying the dialogue between interior and
exterior, artificial and organic. A gentle invitation to slow down,
observe, and find value in imperfection, in the passage of time,
and in transformation.
