Dall’osservazione del bow kite,
l’aquilone del kitesurf, che
si incurva sospinto dal vento
per prendere quota, nasce la
sedia Bowie. Due gusci concavi
che accolgono e abbracciano
il corpo creano una forma
confortevole che favorisce
un’ampia varietà di posizioni
di seduta. L’idea di base
è quella di trarre il massimo
comfort dagli elementi del
sedile e dello schienale, in
multistrato di frassino curvato
dal medesimo stampo, in
legno a vista o con pannello
imbottito.

From the observation of the

to gain altitude, the Bowie
chair was born. Two concave
shells that accommodate and
embrace the body create a
comfortable shape that favours
a wide variety of seating
positions. The basic idea for
the Bowie is to derive as much
comfort as possible from the
seat and backrest elements,
made of curved ash plywood
from the same mould, in wood
or upholstered panel.
