Il sodalizio, tra il designer-architetto Ettore
Sottsass e la materia vitrea, che sussiste fin
dal dopoguerra, sfociò dagli anni settanta in
una produzione d’avanguardia in cui forme
geometriche elementari, dai forti colori
contrastanti, sono assemblate in strutture
complesse, in sintonia con i suoi progetti
architettonici.

The connection between the architect-
designer Ettore Sottsass and the glass
medium, which began in the post-war period,
by the 1970s had evolved into an avantgarde
output in which basic geometric shapes in
bright contrasting colours were assembled
in complex structures, in harmony with his
architectural projects.
