Il particolare effetto a rilievo incrociato da cui
prendono il nome i modelli di questa collezione
è ottenuto con la tecnica del “balloton”. In
fase di lavorazione a caldo il maestro soffia
il vetro in uno stampo di metallo, il cui interno
è costellato di punte in forma di piramide:
la materia, riempiendo il vuoto, si plasma
rivestendosi di questa particolare texture.
Lampada da tavolo disponibile nella versione
con base in vetro, paralume in tessuto e
struttura in metallo laccato oppure con
diffusore in vetro e base in metallo cromato.
The particular cross-relief effect from which
this collection’s models take their name
is obtained by means of the “balloton”
technique. During the hot work phase, the
glass master blows the glass into a metal
mould the interior of which is studded with
pyramid-shaped points; as the molten glass
fills up the void, it takes on this unique texture.
Table lamp available in the version with a
glass base, fabric lamp shade and varnished
metal structure, or with glass diffuser and
chrome-plated metal base.
