L’acqua che respira. Il ghiaccio
che appare fluido. I luoghi del nord
che mutano con la luce. Il “Piatto
di Tapio”, in edizione numerata
per anno, è un omaggio che Tapio
Wirkkala fa a luoghi a lui cari e,
tramite la tecnica ad incalmo con
effetto ghiaccio, dà al vetro le
forme della memoria, dei momenti,
dei movimenti.

di Tapio”, in numbered edition per
year, is a homage paid by Tapio
Wirkkala to Finland, and, through
applying an ice effect to the
incalmo technique, gives the glass
the shapes of memory, moments
and motion.
