IT ― Il piano di lavoro è la parte della cucina più
esposta all’uso quotidiano; per questo deve essere
robusto, resistente e pratico oltre che bello. Non
solo: tra i requisiti fondamentali vi è un’ampiezza
adeguata per permettere di svolgere al meglio le
normali attività; se la profondità aumenta da 60,5
cm a 63,8 cm, lo spazio di lavoro si amplia e le
superfici sono più facili da pulire.
L’aumento della profondità offre, infatti, una
funzionalità sensibilmente più alta per tutte le
operazioni che si svolgono in cucina e si allinea alle
nuove esigenze di un mercato sempre più orientato
all’ergonomia. È necessario, inoltre, tenere in
considerazione un altro fattore: gli elettrodomestici
di nuova generazione sono concepiti e prodotti
con volumi maggiori rispetto al passato; le basi con
profondità standard li contengono ma non sempre
permettono di poter soddisfare i requisiti di sicurezza
e di installazione forniti dalle case produttrici.
La maggiore profondità aumenta il senso di
solidità e permette di lavorare con una visuale più
ampia. La lontananza dai pensili facilita l’apertura
e la chiusura delle ante oltre che il movimento e
l’operatività sul piano di lavoro.
La nuova profondità maggiorata non pregiudica
in alcun modo l’inserimento della cucina in un
ambiente stretto o limitato.

EN ― The worktop is the part of the kitchen that
gets more daily use then any other, so it needs to
be sturdy, hard-wearing and practical – as well
as good to look at. But there’s more: one of the
main requirements is a top that is spacious enough
to make normal day-to-day work as practical as
possible. By increasing the depth of the top from
60.5 cm to 63.8 cm, there is more room in which to
work, and the surfaces are easier to clean.
This increase in the depth of the top makes the unit
far more practical in every way, which is in line with
the new requirements of a market which focuses
increasingly on ergonomic styling. Another factor
should be taken into account: the latest generation
of household appliances are larger than those of the
past; base cabinets with standard depths are able
to accommodate them, but it is not always possible
to meet the manufacturers’ safety and installation
standards.
Increased depth increases the sense of sturdiness,
and allows the user a wider visual perspective. The
slightly greater distance from the wall units makes it
easier to open and close the doors and leaves more
room to work on the top.
The new greater depth does not in any way create
problems when installing the kitchen in a small or
narrow room.
