The courier service has just delivered the Italian edition of the
Maisons de Charme magazine, which has published a six-page
article about Gaia’s B&B. We worked together for weeks, getting
the photos exactly right and polishing the text. The final result is
superbe – even better than we could have imagined.
That’s a good reason to celebrate!
For the last few months, I have been trying to pass on my passion
for cooking and pastry-making to my children. And now the
moment has come to prepare Chantilly cream together. I prefer
the original French recipe, based on whipped cream sweetened
with sugar and flavoured with vanilla essence. It was with this
recipe that I won my wife’s heart ten years ago, but now of course
she is better than me at preparing it.
She’ll be home in an hour or two, and I want this to be a special
evening.
Je viens de recevoir le dernier numéro de la revue intitulée
Maisons De Charme en Italie qui contient un article de six
pages sur le Bed & Breakfast de Gaia. Le résultat final est
superbe : il va au-delà de ce que nous aurions imaginé. Nous
devons fêter ça.
Depuis quelques mois j’essaye de transmettre ma passion
pour la cuisine et la pâtisserie à mes enfants et c’est donc le
moment idéal pour préparer ensemble de la crème chantilly,
la vraie originale française, sucrée et parfumée à la vanille.
Avec cette recette j’ai séduit ma femme il y a dix ans, et
maintenant elle la prépare mieux que moi. D’ailleurs, elle
arrive dans deux heures et nous voulons que cette soirée soit
spéciale.

alle Maisons De Charme in Italia e che contiene un articolo di
sei pagine sul bed & breakfast di Gaia.
Il risultato finale è superbe, più di quanto ci saremmo
immaginati. Insomma, dobbiamo festeggiare.
Da qualche mese sto cercando di trasferire la mia passione per
la cucina e la pasticceria ai miei figli, e quindi è il momento
giusto per preparare insieme la crema chantilly, quella originale
francese, con panna montata, zuccherata e profumata alla
vaniglia. Con questa ricetta ho conquistato mia moglie dieci
anni fa, anche se ora è più brava di me a prepararla.
Anzi, tra un paio d’ore arriverà e vogliamo che questa sera sia
speciale.
