IT_ Ciao, sono Mattia, ho trent’anni e vivo a Brescia.
Sono architetto e da poco tempo sono andato a vivere
nella mia nuova casa. Ho ristrutturato un vecchio
appartamento in centro e adesso è proprio come l’avevo
immaginato: uno spazio con tante finestre dove poter
guardare lontano. Nel lavoro come nella vita mi piace
progettare e, tra squadre, righelli, matite e bozzetti,
trovo sempre posto per nuove idee.
Il mio prossimo progetto si chiama “Spagna” e sono già
a buon punto. Adoro l’architettura spagnola e un giorno
vorrei aprire un mio studio a Barcellona. Sono partito
dalla mia cucina, il laboratorio dove sperimentare nuove
ricette. E’ luminosa e funzionale, ho tutto a portata
di mano. Ogni sera, tra una paella, un gazpacho e una
tortilla, imparo lo spagnolo.
Non ho tempo di frequentare un corso, così mi sono
registrato su Babbel e, mentre aspetto che la cena sia
pronta, apro l’app e continuo le lezioni. E’ divertente
e molto coinvolgente, devo solo stare attento a non
bruciare le pentole sul fuoco!

EN_ Hi. I'm Mattia, I'm thirty years old and I live in
Brescia. I'm an architect, and I have recently moved into
my new home. I have restructured an old apartment
in the centre of town, and now it's exactly what I have
always dreamed of: a space of my own with plenty of
windows that give me a spectacular view of the world.
My career and my life are both focused on my love
for technical drawing, and I find inspiration in my set
squares, rulers, pencils and sketches, which give me most
of my ideas. My next project is called "Spain", and it's
coming along very well. I adore Spanish architecture,
and one day I would love to set up a studio in Barcelona.
I began with the kitchen, which a sort of laboratory
where I experiment with new recipes. It is bright and
functional, and everything I need is to hand. And every
evening, between a paella, a gazpacho and a tortilla, I am
learning Spanish. I don't have time to take a course, so I
have registered with Babbel. While waiting for dinner to
cook, I switch on the app and follow the lessons there. It's
great fun and really interesting – the only problem is that
I have to be careful not to burn dinner! ¡Hasta luego!
FR_ Bonjour, je m’appelle Mattia, j’ai trente ans et
je vis à Brescia. Je suis architecte et j’ai récemment
emménagé dans ma nouvelle maison. J’ai restructuré
un vieil appartement du centre et à présent il est
exactement comme je l’avais imaginé : un espace plein
de fenêtres pour regarder au loin. Au travail comme
dans la vie, j’aime concevoir et, armé d’équerres, de
crayons et de croquis, je trouve toujours le temps pour
de nouvelles idées.
Mon prochain projet s’intitule “Spagna” et j’en suis

un jour je voudrais ouvrir un cabinet à Barcelone.
J’ai commencé par ma cuisine, le laboratoire où
j’essaie de nouvelles recettes. Elle est lumineuse et
fonctionnelle, j’ai tout à portée de main. Tous les soirs,
entre une paëlla, un gazpacho et un tortilla, j’apprends
l’espagnol.
Je n’ai pas le temps de suivre un cours, ainsi je me suis
inscrit sur Babbel et en attendant que le dîner soit prêt,
j’ouvre l’appli et je suis les leçons. C’est amusant et très
intéressant, je dois juste faire attention à ne pas faire
brûler les casseroles !
