Linda: “Amiamo le cose vere, vissute, che resistono al tempo come noi. Quan-
do non è il mio turno in redazione – lavoro presso il quotidiano locale della
mia città - la domenica andiamo a caccia di oggetti originali per arredare la
nostra casa, battendo a tappeto tutti i mercatini di bric-à-brac.”
Alessio: “L’ultimo acquisto? Il carrellino che stiamo usando come etager per
le piante. Stiamo cercando anche altri oggetti, come un vecchio macinino per
caffè, una bilancia con piatti e pesi in ottone o degli utensili in rame. Siamo
sicuri che aggiungeranno un tocco di grande personalità alla nostra cucina,
che abbiamo arredato giocando sui contrasti di colori e materiali.”
Linda : « Nous aimons les choses vraies, vécues, qui résistent au temps, comme
nous. Lorsque je ne suis pas à la rédaction – je travaille pour le journal local de
ma ville – le dimanche nous partons à la recherche d’objets originaux pour meu-
bler notre maison ou pour les restaurer, créant ainsi des pièces uniques à offrir
aux amis et aux parents, en flânant dans tous les marchés aux puces ».
Alessio : « Notre dernier achat ? Le petit chariot que nous utilisons comme
étagères pour les plantes. Nous sommes également à la recherche d’autres
objets comme un vieux moulin à café, une balance avec les plateaux et les
poids en laiton ou des ustensiles en cuivre. Nous sommes certains qu’ils ajoute-
ront une touche de grande personnalité à notre cuisine que nous avons meu-
blée en jouant sur les contrastes de couleurs et de matériaux ».
Linda: “We both love things that are real, well-worn and withstand the test
of time. Like us. When I’m not working a shift in the editorial office – I work
at the local newspaper – on Sundays we like to go hunting for original objects
that we can use to furnish our house. We comb all the flea-markets for bric-
à-brac.”
Alessio: “Our latest purchase was the little trolley that we are using as a plant
display. We are still looking for other objects, including an old coffee grinder
and a pair of scales with copper pans and brass weights. We are sure that
these will bring a touch of extra personality to our kitchen, which we have
furnished using contrasting colours and materials.
