Tudor è un divano da conversazione: dimen-
sioni contenute, volumi controllati, la ricerca di un equilibrio este-
tico fra la morbidezza della seduta e la leggerezza formale dei
piedini in metallo. Fra i due estremi c’è la sapienza costruttiva di un
abile progettista di arredamento, capace di trovare slancio esteti-
co in un divano dai volumi saggiamente controllati.
Il brief progettuale si concentra sulle dimen-
sioni e i volumi per arrivare a un divano smart, pensato per spazi
che risolvono in modo ibrido e multifunzionale il concetto di con-
vivialità e di relazione. Tudor non è un divano che abbraccia, è un
oggetto che invita al dialogo, allo scambio, alle conversazioni in-
formali nei luoghi di lavoro e hospitality. Ma è anche un prodotto
immaginato per spazi accoglienti benché di piccola scala.

Tudor is a conversation sofa featuring com-
pact dimensions and restrained volumes that strives to strike an
aesthetic balance between the softness of the seat and the light-
ness of the metal feet. Between these two extremes is the structur-
al expertise of a skilful furniture designer with the capacity to inject
visual energy into a sofa with a judiciously gauged shape.
The design brief focused on dimensions and
volumes, with the goal of creating a smart sofa devised for hybrid,
multi-purpose spaces used for dining and socializing. You do not
sink into a Tudor sofa. It encourages dialogue, interaction and infor-
mal conversations in hospitality and working environments.
However, it was also conceived for small but welcoming spaces.
