First developed in 1992, Amalfine™ is a Turnstyle
trademarked material, unique to Turnstyle Designs that has
been fine-tuned and perfected over the years to represent
over a third of our catalogue range as well as being used
extensively in our custom production. Each of our stock
finishes are made up from a different recipe of materials,
including marble, bronze, aluminium, and a selection of
dyes, making each of them a solid composite rather than a
“finish”. Each handle design is hand-poured, in liquid form,

into silicone rubber moulds that will pick up fingerprint detail,
steel or brass cores are cast in for additional strength and
function. The overall process is labour intensive and takes
many hours to perfect, but the outcome is both durable,
beautiful and extremely tactile. The detail of the process is
a closely guarded secret, perfected by our skilled craftsmen
and loved by our customers.
