Dalla venatura marcata ed evidente e dal colore caldo che varia
dal rossastro al giallo chiaro, è un legno espressivo.
Molto compatto e robusto, resistente
all’umidità, è il tipico albero di montagna
e di boschi misti. Il legno è molto resinoso
ed ha tessitura fine e fibratura dritta.
Presenta una colorazione rossastra con
venature scure o giallo chiaro. Nella sua
semplicità e nel suo rendersi disponibile
ad interessanti finiture questo legno
trova spazio negli ambienti più diversi.
