AMANU, Yabu Pushelberg’s third collection for Tribù, is a timeless expression of everyday leisure. Celebrating the art of distillation, the studio generously worked with time to refine Amanu to its most essential form, exuding purity and calmness.
Exploring the organic beauty and durability of teak, Yabu Pushelberg crafted a dining table, dining chair and lounge chair characterized by generous proportions. Amanu’s chairs feature woven, hemp-based Canax® sling seats, suspended within the pared-back teak frame, creating the illusion of a floating chair. The chairs’ slightly tapered legs provide elegance and grace.
The Amanu dining table exudes the notion of togetherness. The broad, ceramic tiles seem to float on the discreet, yet sturdy teak frame, creating a remarkable lightness. The rounded edges of both the teak profiles and the outer ceramic tiles, convey a soft and harmonious look.
