For the first time in bed making history, Tréca Paris created the dream bed in which the
bed base, support mattress, comfort mattress and topper are manufactured and presented as
a single unit, guaranteeing made-to-measure comfort.
More than 100 steps are necessary to produce the Auguste bed. Over 25kg of the finest
materials are used to fill the mattress. These are: Royal Alpaca and Merino d’Arles wool
to ensure warmth and softness; while the silk and the wool ensure optimal temperature
regulation. Each mattress is entirely tufted by hand, guaranteeing gentle support and
avoiding any material shifting.
