Up-Chair is an extremely emotional product. The comfort is also achieved through the use of an innovative manufacturing process of the shell. The material is called HALF SOFT TOUCH, an integral solid-coloured foam, whose molecular structure is very stable and partly self supporting, that means more flexibility and more comfort as well as lightness to the chair. The shell is available in 10 fresh colours, the metal base is available both matt or polished chrome finish.
A new luxurious solution in leather for Up is introduced. The new number one among the Tonon products, already awarded with the Interior innovation award 2012 and with the Good Design Award which is one of the most prestigious prizes for product design, organized by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design. Designed by the German designer Martin Ballendat, it’s not only beautiful to see but also pleasant to use, thanks to the extreme comfort in the seat. At Salone del Mobile is shown the Up Chair in leather, offered in a selection of three kind of leathers belonging to the Tonon collection and in a wide choice of 86 colour tones and shades.
