Alberto Tonon “cavaliere del regno” founds the company the location of the com-
pany is located in the northeast of italy, the friuli area in the village of manzano
Sandro Tonon joins the company. bringing tonon back to its own brand. Uniforma,
is the first collection of design after supplying the furniture industry.
Episodes collection will get soon one of the most famous collections of Tonon. In 2004
tonon delivers over 1900 chairs for the main restaurant of the Queen Mary 2.
Tonon is growing up to 220 workers. in the aera the people are calling the company
tonon simply “la fabbrica” (the factory).
Tonon opens a new market in the horeca business (hotel, restaurant, cafeteria).
The wide program of the flower collection gives an answer for every destination.
Hotel chains like Sheraton, Holiday Inn, Hilton etc. get customers of Tonon.
CONCEPT 902 - SOFT TOUCH the first chair in skin injected foam is born
SOFT TOUCH POLYPLUS - RIVER COLLECTION the first product manufactured in soft
touch polyplus for indoor and outdoor seating.

Durante la crisi economica in Italia, Tonon si specializza nella
produzione di ruote per bicicletta in legno.
Entra in azienda Sandro Tonon. “Uniforma” è la prima collezione di design a far parte
della produzione.
“Episodes” diventa presto una delle collezioni più famose di Tonon. Nel 2004 vengono
consegnate più di 1900 sedie per l’arredamento del ristorante principale della nave da
crociera “Queen Mary 2”, in quel momento la nave più grande del mondo.
Tonon arriva a 220 lavoratori.
La popolazione locale identifica l’azienda Tonon come: ‘La fabbrica’.
Tonon si inserisce nel mercato del settore horeca (hotel, ristoranti, caffetterie). L’ampio
programma della collezione FLOWER offre una soluzione per ogni destinazione.
Catene di hotel come Sheraton, Holiday Inn, Hilton ecc. diventano clienti di Tonon.
CONCEPT 902 -“ SOFT TOUCH” nasce la prima sedia in schiuma integrale
SOFT TOUCH POLYPLUS - RIVER COLLECTION - nasce il primo prodotto realizzato in
soft touch polyplus per in&outdoor.
