Metiz, il cui nome si ispira alla metis greca, simbolo di
“astuzia dell’intelligenza,” è anche il nome della quarta
luna di Giove, la più veloce dei suoi satelliti. Il designer
David Fox ha aggiunto una “Z” al termine dello sviluppo
per simboleggiare la consegna del concetto a TONON. La
collezione, composta da sedia, sgabello, lounge, divano,
pouf e tavolini, si distingue per le forme organiche e
l’adattabilità a contesti residenziali e corporate. Grazie a
poliuretani a multi densità e cinghie elastiche nascoste,
offre un comfort unico. Metiz segue il successo della lounge
“Poppy,” vincitrice del Red Dot Award nel 2011.
Metiz, whose name is inspired by the Greek metis, a
symbol of “cunning intelligence,” is also the name
of Jupiter’s fourth moon, the fastest of its satellites.
Designer David Fox added a “Z” at the end of the
development process to symbolize the handover of the
concept to TONON. The collection, comprising a chair,
stool, lounge, sofa, poufs, and tables, stands out for its
organic shapes and adaptability to both residential and
corporate settings. Thanks to multi-density polyurethane
and hidden elastic straps, it offers unparalleled comfort.
Metiz follows the success of the “Poppy” lounge, which
won the prestigious Red Dot Award in 2011.
