Inspired by the logic of pure mathematics, Etch features
geodesic structures made of razor-thin, etched metal
sheets, tabbed together like Victorian tin toys. Using
digital acid etching methods – similar to making electronic
products such as circuit boards – the detailed perforated
pattern of the sheets allows for light to escape and cast a
mass of intricate, tangled shadows when lit.
