Verwendet werden ausschließlich Massiv-
hölzer aus nachhaltiger Forstwirtschaft
(FSC und PFSC): Esche, Eiche und Nuss-
baum. Die Oberflächen werden nur geölt
und zeigen deshalb ihre Struktur deutlich.
Stellen, die man häufiger berührt, werden
mit der Zeit glatter. Zum Schutz und zur
Oberflächenbehandlung verwenden wir
ein spezielles Öl, das auf einer Leinöl-
Verbindung basiert. Es ist frei von Lösungs-
mitteln und toxischen Stoffen. Bei Be-
darf kann man die Oberflächen einfach
nachölen.
WOOD
We exclusively use solid wood from sus-
tained forestry (FSC and PFSC): Ash, oak
and walnut. The surfaces are oiled and
therefore clearly display their grain. Places
that are touched more frequently become
smoother over the course of time. We use
a special oil based on a linseed oil com-
pound to protect the wood and for surface
treatment. It has no solvents or toxic sub-
stances. A new coat of oil can be applied
to the wood if needed.
Für unsere „Pure Materials“-Klassiker aus
Bugholz kommt feinste heimische Esche
zum Einsatz. Ebenso wie Buche eignet
sie sich hervorragend für das traditionelle
Verfahren des Holzbiegens mithilfe von
Dampf. Esche ist ein sehr festes und elasti-
sches Holz mit einer charakteristischen und
offenporigen Struktur. Das Material wird
nur leicht behandelt, so dass man die Ma-
serung als lebendige Oberfläche haptisch
erleben kann. Die Bugholzstühle werden
in zwei Versionen angeboten: hell geölt
oder dunkel gebeizt und mit Naturholzlack
veredelt.
The finest domestic ash wood is used for
our “Pure Materials” bentwood classics.
Just like beech, this wood is well-suited for
the traditional production method of bend-
ing wood with the help of steam. Ash is a
very solid and elastic wood with a charac-
teristic open-pore structure. The material
is treated only slightly, which enables you
to really feel the grain as a living surface.
The bentwood chairs are offered in two
versions: slightly oiled or dark-stained and
refined with natural wood lacquer.
