Die Lieblingsjacke, die Tasche aus Leder, ein viel benutztes
Möbel ... Wir lieben die Dinge in unserer Umgebung, die sich
durch den intensiven Gebrauch anpassen und auf denen wir un-
sere Spuren hinterlassen. Es sind persönliche, unverwechselbare
Unikate. Das ist eine Idee hinter dem Begriff „Pure Materials“.
Bewusst werden Gebrauchsspuren sichtbar und geben jedem
Möbel seine unverwechselbare Identität. Naturbelassenes Holz,
markantes, vollnarbiges Leder und ein besonders schonender
Umgang mit den Materialien kennzeichnen diese edle und be-
sonders nachhaltig ausgeprägte Linie. So bildet sich mit der
Zeit durch den Gebrauch eine natürliche Patina, die jedem Mö-
bel eine einzigartige Optik verleiht.
FAVOURITE PIECES
A favourite jacket, leather tote, or a much-used piece of furniture
... We love the objects in our environment that adjust to intensive
use and upon which we leave our traces. They are personal and
unmistakable – simply unique. This is one idea behind the term
“Pure Materials”. The intention is for signs of use to become visi-
ble and provide each piece of furniture with an unmistakable
identity. Natural wood, striking, grained leather and an especially
careful handling of the materials characterise this fine and espe-
cially sustainable product line. Over the course of time and with
use, a natural patina develops, providing each piece of furniture
with a unique look.

Beständigkeit des Schwingeffekts.

We use DIN-compliant precision tubular
steel or solid round steel for the base
frames. Especially alloyed, spring hard-
ened and bright-drawn tubular steel
guarantees the permanent durability of
the flexing effect for the cantilever chairs.
For our “Pure Materials” collection the
tubular steel frames are chrome-plated,
as is the case for our standard collection.
NACHHALTIGKEIT
Bei „Pure Materials“ setzen wir ausschließlich Materialien ein,
die einen schonenden Umgang mit der Natur sicherstellen:
Die massiven Holzteile bleiben naturbelassen und werden nur
geölt, man spürt die Struktur des Holzes. Als Bezugsmaterial
setzen wir ein markantes, narbiges Leder ein, das umweltscho-
nend gegerbt wird und besonders strapazierfähig ist. Die
robusten Nähte garantieren lange Lebensdauer.
SUSTAINABILITY
For “Pure Materials” we exclusively use materials that guarantee
a careful handling of nature: the solid wood parts are untreated
and only oiled, making the wood grain tangible. We use striking,
scarred leather that is tanned using an environmentally friendly
process and is especially durable. The robust seams guarantee du-
rability. And the tubular steel base frames are nickel-plated rather
than chrome-plated. Over the course of time a natural patina – an
intentional effect – develops on the surface.
