The Middleton Rice Bed
A fnely carved mahogany and fgured mahogany rice bed,
the serpentine arched and moulded edge headboard fanked
by acanthus leaf and rice carved baluster turned posts with
urn fnials; the fgured mahogany rails with brass rosettes to
the posts. Inspired by an 18th century American original.

A mahogany and fgured mahogany veneered dresser, the reeded
edge top with protruding corners and a central bowfront with leaf
carved and reeded uprights with three frieze drawers and nine
further graduated and crossbanded drawers with verdigris brass
handles, raised on turned legs. Inspired by a Federal Period original.
