Making Rugs By Hand
We understand how crucial it is for luxury brands in the design industry to uphold sustainable
business models and as a result ethical, environmental and socially aware practices are always at the
forefront of our consciousness.
A sustainable approach is fundamental, and we are continually re-evaluating the way we work to
maintain the longevity of our rugs while striving to minimise the effect that our company has on the
planet. Since our launch in 1997, we have used sustainable materials, which together with handmade
products and their ability to lessen emissions allow us to create durable, repairable designs while
reducing their environmental impact.
We are committed to supporting the welfare and rights of everyone who plays a role in our company
both near and far. As the largest exporter of rugs in Nepal, we are proud to make a vital contribution
to the Nepalese economy, while providing sustainable employment to a large number of people. The
health, welfare and very best treatment of the community are of paramount importance, and we
work hard to ensure that local and international industry standards relating to all ethical aspects of
the rug-making process are met and indeed, exceeded.
SUSTAINABILITY &
GOOD PRACTICE
A sustainable approach is fundamental to our brand,
as we endeavour to take responsibility and
continually evaluate our efforts.
