Over the centuries, Western culture has
brought great technological innovation to
many areas. Gradually, our life has become
more and more articulated and organ-
ized, in the search for quick answers and
solutions to bring endless improvement
to our everyday life. As always, however,
comfort also has its downsides. Over time
and spread of immediate comfort, we have
become demanding, impatient, detached
from the place where we are and often
also from the people around us.
There are actual social realities, such as the
ancient African tribes, which are founded
on the very existence of their relationship
with nature, in which they are immersed.
Human beings inextricably linked to each
other and, all together, linked to their land.
Time has nothing to do with watches, but
is marked by nature and its slow rhythms,
which these people have learned to un-
derstand, respect and follow.
Etnico is the wallpaper collection with
which Tecnografica celebrates a return
to simplicity that, just like in the culture
of African tribes, we can find in the warm
earth tones, irregular geometric shapes,
raw textures of the materials and deco-
rations patiently reproduced by hand by
our designers.
The graphic designs of Etnico thus present
a powerful and determined character, ca-
pable of defining a style out of time, but
completely enveloped by the richness of
the most uncontaminated nature.

Nel corso dei secoli, la cultura occidentale
ha portato grande innovazione tecnologica,
su qualunque fronte. Gradualmente, la no-
stra vita è diventata sempre più articolata
e organizzata, alla ricerca di risposte e solu-
zioni veloci per apportare un miglioramento
senza fine alla quotidianità. Come sempre,
tuttavia, anche la comodità ha il suo risvolto
della medaglia. Col passare del tempo e
il dilagare del comfort immediato, siamo
diventati esigenti, poco pazienti, distaccati
dal luogo in cui ci troviamo e spesso anche
dalle persone che ci circondano.
Ci sono invece realtà sociali, come le an-
tiche tribù africane, che fondano la loro
stessa esistenza sul rapporto con la natura
in cui sono immerse. Esseri umani legati
indissolubilmente tra loro e, tutti insieme,
legati alla loro terra. Il tempo non ha nulla
a che vedere con gli orologi, ma è scandito
proprio dalla natura e dai suoi ritmi len-
ti, che queste persone hanno imparato a
comprendere, rispettare e seguire.
Etnico è la collezione di carta da parati con
cui Tecnografica celebra un ritorno alla
semplicità che, proprio come nella cultura
delle tribù africane, possiamo ritrovare nei
colori caldi della terra, nelle forme geo-
metriche irregolari, nelle texture grezze
dei materiali e nelle decorazioni riprodotte
pazientemente a mano dai nostri designer.
I soggetti grafici di Etnico presentano così
un carattere potente e determinato, in grado
di definire uno stile al di fuori del tempo,
ma completamente avvolto dalla ricchezza
della natura più incontaminata.
