LE MURA new color palette by Formafantasma
After the launch in 2022 of Mario Bellini’s iconic design, reissued with the brand, Le
Mura is back in the spotlight at Milan Design Week 2023. The collaboration between
Tacchini, Formafantasma and Rubelli, a company renowned for its fabric manufactur-
ing expertise, confirms the timeless character of the sofa, with a contemporary twist.
The two designers explore the concept of modularity of the sofa by selecting 9 colours
in 3 shades of the Ombra fabric, a pure cotton velvet. A distinctive palette that perfect-
ly enhances the design of the product, conceived to colour the entire composition in a
single tone or build a stylistic dialogue between the modules dressed in the different
colours. The proposal celebrates Le Mura modular sofa and confirms the care for up-
holstery that Tacchini has been pursuing for long time.
Dopo il lancio nel 2022 dell’iconico design di Mario Bellini, rieditato a quattro mani in-
sieme al brand, Le Mura torna protagonista con la Milano Design Week 2023. Una col-
laborazione quella tra Tacchini, Formafantasma e Rubelli, azienda d’eccellenza nel
settore dei tessuti, che conferma l’iconicità senza tempo del divano, con uno sguardo al
contemporaneo. Giocando sul concetto di modularità, i due designer hanno seleziona-
to 9 colori articolati per 3 tonalità del tessuto Ombra, un velluto in puro cotone. Una pa-
lette raffinata che esalta perfettamente il design del prodotto, pensata per colorare in
un unico tono l’intera composizione o costruire un dialogo stilistico tra i moduli vestiti
con i diversi colori. La proposta celebra il divano modulare Le Mura e conferma l’at-
tenzione ai rivestimenti che Tacchini porta avanti da tempo.
