Kuschel writes a love letter to wool. It says that weaving can become a means of
communicating and connecting with the surrounding environment, a practical and
poetic, ancient and sustainable means, thanks to which the human spirit finds one of its
purest and most genuine expressions. The texture comprises of intertwined and hand-
knotted threads and fringes in warm or cold shades reflected in the wool and silk yarns
for a tactile and visual experience rich in nuances and craftsmanship. With this precious
wool rug available in two versions, Salem van der Swaagh signs her first collaboration
with Tacchini.
Kuschel scrive una lettera d’amore alla lana. Racconta che la tessitura può diventare
un mezzo per comunicare e connettersi con l’ambiente circostante, un mezzo pratico e
poetico, antico e sostenibile, grazie al quale lo spirito umano trova una delle sue espres-
sioni più pure e genuine. La trama si compone di fili intrecciati e annodati a mano e di
frange dalle tonalità calde o fredde che si riflettono fra filati di lana e seta per un’espe-
rienza tattile e visiva ricca di sfumature e artigianalità. Con questo prezioso tappeto in
lana disponibile in due versioni, Salem van der Swaagh firma la sua prima collabora-
zione con Tacchini.
