Ynez Ottoman
The Ynez collection introduces a sofa series where sculptural
lines meet classic design, capturing the essence of romance
through its curved silhouettes and soft geometric forms. Its
name, meaning “Pure” in ancient Greek, reflects this purity in
design, offering a range of pieces from One Seater Sofa to Two
Seater Sofa and Ottoman that feel both modern and nostalgic.
This collaboration between Stellar Works and Yabu
Pushelberg draws on their shared ability to create pieces that
resonate across cultures, blending rich materials and precise
construction methods to honor both Eastern craft traditions
and Western design sensibilities. Achieving an elegant posture
that also provides comfort was a challenge, evolving from
hand sketches to multiple prototypes to ensure every angle
delivers both visual impact and genuine care for the sitter.
Whether beside a fireplace, in a library, or as the anchor of
a lobby vignette, the Ynez collection fosters intimacy and
conversation. Its diverse formats, distinct yet complementary,
allow for unity in large-scale settings without repetition.
