anche come Colosseo quadrato, progettato a Roma negli anni 30. La sagoma del taglio nel
volume quadrato rimanda appunto ai 54 archi che rendono iconico e inconfondibile l’edificio.
Intrinseco il rimando a un’idea di modularità.
A clear homage to an iconic architecture:il palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, also known
as the Colosseo quadrato, designed in Rome in the 1930s. The outline of the cut in the square
volume refers precisely to the 54 arches that make the building iconic and unmistakable. Intrinsic
is the reference to an idea of modularity.
