SLIDE Art is a sculpture project where Art and Design
meet, combining their main special features: Design becomes
higher conceptually, while Art becomes serially reproducible, in
a limited number.
Thought and creativity therefore meet Italian craftsmanship,
creating a new concept of Art, which shapes the material and
turns it into sculptures produced in limited, numbered and
certified pieces.
SLIDE Art is a hotbed of ideas where designers and artists can
experiment with shapes, materials and concepts, supported by
the expertise, knowledge and experience developed by SLIDE,
in a dialogue that can combine a single work from two core
elements, that of Design and Art, which are so similar yet so
different. Alessandro Mendini, Karim Rashid, Anna Gili, Sacha
Sosno, Jean Claude Fahry, Flavio Lucchini and Ben Vautier are
just a few of the illustrious names that have taken part in the
project.
