Originating from a system of 276 interlocks that, while apparently random, responds to precise rules of composition, Veli is inspired by the diverse world of haute couture where folds, drapes and carvings give shape to highly decorative three-dimensional volumes.
The sinuous embossed ribbing that makes up the Opalflex® surface is decorated with a delicate shade of color. From high fashion Veli also inherited another ability, that of not needing other “accessories” to give character to an interior. These features, which are found throughout the range, have gained it an honorable mention at the 2012 Red Dot Design Awards.
