Nature is the Master. In the construction
of shapes that have an inherent harmony
and that fit into everyday life with
gentleness and spontaneity, what is
called “naturalness” expresses itself.
The naturalness of a Design product is
manifested when it enters a living space
giving it a significant impact without
shouting, tiptoeing, becoming one with
its surroundings.
Fiordlys is inspired by the sinuous waves
of aurora borealis and the movements of
Nordic cliffs. In a metropolitan context,
where speed and chaos alter human
balances, Fiordlys brings the cool and
calm breeze from nature to the center of
an home.
Since 1994, Slamp creates suggestive
and versatile lamps using the latest
generation
of
materials,
manually
moulded into elements that combined
together, make up a luxurious landscape.
Much like any maison dedicated to
haute couture, Slamp lamps undergo
a precise ritual that transforms a
sheet of technopolymer material into
an
exceptionally
decorative,
three
dimensional shape through cold cutting
and handcrafting.
A lamp has not only the duty to illuminate,
it’s first and foremost an element of
reconnection with the power of Nature.
La Natura è maestra. Nella costruzione di
forme che hanno un’armonia intrinseca
e che si inseriscono nella vita quotidiana
con dolcezza e spontaneità si manifesta
quella che viene chiamata “naturalezza”.

ottiene quando esso entra in un contesto
abitativo dandovi un impatto significativo
senza urlare, in punta di piedi, diventando
un tutt’uno con ciò che lo circonda.
Fiordlys si ispira alle onde sinuose
delle aurore boreali e ai movimenti
delle scogliere nordiche. In un contesto
metropolitano, in cui velocità e caos
alterano gli equilibri umani, Fiordlys
porta la brezza fresca e calma dalla
natura al centro della casa.
Dal 1994 Slamp crea lampade suggestive
e versatili con tecnopolimeri di nuova
generazione e una speciale abilità
manuale
nell’assemblare
elementi
che si compongono dando vita a un
lussureggiante
panorama
figurativo.
Come in una maison di haute couture, la
creazione di una Slamp passa attraverso
una
ritualità
che
trasforma,
con
lavorazioni a freddo, incastri e piegature
manuali, un foglio piano in un volume
tridimensionale altamente decorativo.
Una lampada non ha solo il dovere di
illuminare, essa è prima ancora un
elemento di riconnessione con la forza
della Natura.
