SURFACE VERSION
IP System has been developed to assure
a special electrical IP65 connection
that allows the installation of plug-
in products anywhere in the system
and their possible repositioning. (This
operation shall be managed by a trained
and qualified staff). The mechanical
and electrical connection of all plug-in
products to the light rod is via a double
installation connection:
1. The two metal clips hook the black
anodised aluminium profile externally and
mechanically ensure the product plug-in
to the light rod;
2. The pins, necessary for the 24V
electrical connection, pierce the silicone
strip housed in the profile and intercept
a dedicated electrical line independent
from the electrical line of the rod.
Ceiling
RECESSED VERSION
IP System is also available as recessed
version for plasterboard. The recessed
profile is supplied with its recessing box
designed to host the plasterpanel and the
profile which will be directly clipped to it
and securely fixed with two screws.
The
installation
and
the
electrical
connection of all the plug-in products to
the profile, works as per the IP System
surface mounted version and by using
a template who steer the pins to pierce
correctly the silicone rod and get in
connection with the dedicated electrical
lines.
To remove the plug-in products, it is
necessary to unscrew the security screws
and remove the profile from the recessing
box by using a proper supplied tool. After
that you proceed to remove the plug-in
products as per the IP System surface
version procedure.
