In 1951 the Italian duo Franco Albini & Franca Helg
designed the Belladonna sofa. The construction of
the sofa makes it seem like the seat is placed on a
pedestal, giving the sofa an almost majestic aura.
The beautifully curved back and fine open weave
further enhances this elegant expression.
