The St Catherine teak bench was designed by Arne Jacobsen in
1935. The bench was part of his first major project abroad where
he designed the St Catherine’s College Oxford and the college park.
Arne Jacobsen had a great interest in landscape and nature, and
often said “If I had a second life, I would be a gardener“.
