Our passion and know-how dates a long way back - we have been around long enough to call ourselves
Scandinavia’s oldest produceer of rattan and wicker furniture. Sika Møbler was established in 1942 by Ankjær
Andreasen. He only worked with the best wicker makers and together they perfected the art of wicker. His
son Knud Andreasen took over the company in 1981, and in 2013 3rd generation Louise Andreasen became
the main shareholder in Sika-Design and the legacy has continued. Each piece of furniture is still handcrafted
with the same tradition for craftsmanship, comfort and quality that has caracterized Sika-Design for the past
70 years.
