How to illuminate the welcoming area
L’ingresso in un hotel fornisce la prima impressione della struttura;
comunica agli ospiti il tipo e l’immagine della stessa struttura.
Nella hall dell'hotel è da prediligere l’impiego di lampade di
rappresentanza (sospensioni, chandellier) in grado di fornire sia
un’illuminazione funzionale, ma anche decorativa e di immagine.
Fondamentale integrarsi con il design degli ambienti ma anche
contribuire alla valorizzazione della architettura mediante linee
luminose più o meno integrate con la struttura.
Luce diffusa ed indiretta sugli spazi e concentrata sulle postazioni
di accoglienza.
Una corretta illuminazione è fondamentale: si accorda all’identità
dell’hotel; sul banco reception è possibile intervenire con una luce
diffusa, oppure utilizzando una luce intima ed accogliente, con un
gioco di contrasti tra accenti e tonalità di colore.
La luce può rappresentare una guida verso le varie aree come la
reception o i salottini attesa, dove, la luce sarà più morbida.
Nella hall la luce sarà invece un bilanciamento tra apporto
luminoso verticale ed orizzontale.

Entering a hotel provides the first impression of the structure;
communicates to guests the type and image of the structure itself.
In the hotel hall, the use of representative lamps (suspensions,
chandeliers) capable of providing both functional, but also
decorative and image lighting is to be preferred. It is essential to
integrate lighting with the design of the environments but also to
contribute to the enhancement of the architecture through luminous
lines more or less integrated with the structure.

Correct lighting is essential: it matches the identity of the hotel; on
the reception desk it is possible to intervene with a diffused light,
or using an intimate and welcoming light, with a play of contrasts
between accents and mixing different light colours.
The light can represent a guide to the various areas such as the
reception or waiting rooms, where the light will be softer.
In the hall the light will instead be a balance between vertical and
horizontal light input.
