SICIS, starting from the study of
traditional techniques, has developed
and
patented
an industrial
production
system
that
allows
to
create
its tesserae as in the
tradition, each different from the
other. Each tile is unique, not
planar, to allow the vibration of the
light, and with some unique marks
as in past. In all other productions
on an industrial scale, the tesserae
are all the same, opaque in color,
rough on the surface. The others’ tiles
are therefore not mosaic but simple
tiles, completely losing the intrinsic
meaning, the charm of the mosaic,
the art.
SICIS entire mosaic chain is the result
of a wise and rigorous development
and experimentation activity, avant-
garde and pride of the Italian industry,
in total harmony with the artisan
dynamics that dictate the guidelines.
