Un gioiello in bagno. E oltre.

e il mosaico è paragonabile per flessibilità e ‘morbidezza’
a un prezioso tessuto fatto di luce, capace di seguire le
forme dell’architettura, più che mai può divenire l’abito di
oggetti che, nelle architetture, trovano il proprio palcoscenico
quotidiano.
Ultima novità, in ordine di tempo, della dinamica produzione
SICIS, è la collezione di vasche rivestite di preziose tessere
colorate che definiscono un oggetto autonomo, non più vincolato
al bagno, luogo classicamente deputato allo scopo.
In pratica potrebbe migrare altrove: in soggiorno, in camera...
magari anche in giardino.
Un oggetto scultura. Bello da vedere, piacevole da usare.
A sottolineare la preziosità e l’eleganza, la forma, in uno stile
aulico e retrò che ben si addice alla tessera di mosaico SICIS,
nelle sue infinite declinazioni cromatiche.
Spesso un decoro – sia esso geometrico, floreale, stilizzato
– rompe la superficie di riflessi, creando una nota di unicità
che si esalta nel dialogo tra dettagli: i piedi in stile leonino, i
bordi arrotondati, la forma della vasca.
Non manca, ovviamente, il moderno, con vasche dalla
geometria semplice dove il decoro musivo trova superfici
perfette per sperimentare linguaggi arditi nei segni e nelle
cromie. Una dimostrazione di quanto la versatilità creativa
SICIS sia in grado di interpretare il ‘tempo’ e la ‘materia’,
in ogni sua possibile declinazione.

architecture, then more than ever it can become the adornment
of objects whose everyday stage is the architectural space.
The newest member of the dynamic range produced by SICIS
is our collection of bathtubs covered in exquisite colored tiles,
defining an autonomous object which is no longer restricted
to the bathroom, its traditional setting.
In fact, it could migrate anywhere: to the living room, the
bedroom...even the garden.
An object of sculpture. Beautiful to see, pleasurable to use.
The sumptuousness and elegance are underscored by the
form, in a regal retro style that lends itself perfectly to SICIS
mosaics, in its infinite chromatic variations.
A decoration – whether geometric, floral, or stylized – often
breaks the surface of reflections to create a note of uniqueness
that is enhanced in the dialogue between the details: the feet
in lion’s paw style, the rounded contours, the form of the
bathtub.
Obviously, there is no lack of the modern, with bathtubs
characterized by a simple geometry where the mosaic
decoration finds perfect surfaces on which to experiment with
expressive languages that are bold in graphics and colors.
All demonstrating how the creative versatility of SICIS can
interpret “time” and “matter” in every possible variation.
