Il termine giapponese per
indicare il fiore di loto è hasu 蓮 e
significa “purezza dell’anima”.
Il loto è un fiore particolare perché ha
in sè un fascino naturale nonostante
le sue radici siano immerse nel fango.
Proprio per la sua capacità di
sbocciare in tutta la sua bellezza
dal fango, simboleggia la rinascita
in un mondo contaminato dalle
impurità. Marta Sansoni ha voluto
rendere ancora più splendido
questo simbolo di rinascita, e per
Serralunga lo ha tradotto in una luce
fluttuante. Oggetto luminoso che
con leggerezza e grazia illuminerà

being immersed in mud.
Precisely because of its ability to
