Dopo secoli a lume di candela, in poco più di un secolo e mezzo il sistema
d’illuminazione si è evoluto due volte, passando dalla lampadina a incandescenza
alla tecnologia Led. Oggi Seguso è giunto ad un nuovo importante traguardo,
coniugando la più preziosa tradizione muranese all’utilizzo della tecnologia LED,
“reinventando” il lampadario di Murano senza per questo sottrarre la magia del
vetro e della luce che nella sua trasparenza si rinfrange.
La tecnologia LED e l’efficienza luminosa che essa garantisce è avvolta da una goccia
di vetro soffiato che prende spunto dalla forma della lampadina a bulbo per proporsi
in molteplici variazioni decorative. Queste possono vivere accostate l’una all’altra
sommando il loro decoro (come in foto), o ripetersi uguali secondo il più classico degli
schemi di illuminazione. E come in un cambio d’abito, possono essere sostituite nel
tempo con altri decori.
Queste speciali lampadine possono essere customizzate e rese uniche per progetti
esclusivi.

After centuries by candlelight, in little more than a century and a half the lighting
system has evolved twice, going from the bulb to LED technology. Today Seguso
has reached a new milestone, combining the most precious Murano tradition
with the use of LED technology, “reinventing” the Murano chandelier without
removing the magic of glass and light that is refracted in its transparency.
LED technology and the luminous efficiency it provides is wrapped in a drop of blown
glass, which is inspired by the shape of a light bulb to present itself in a variety of
decorative changes. These can live in a side by side relationship by adding their
decoration (see photo), or repeat the same according to the most classic of lighting
schemes. And as in a change of clothes, they can be replaced over time with other
decorations.
These special bulbs can be customized and made unique for exclusive projects.
