The uniqueness
of SCHRAMM pocket springs
Only springs which have undergone a thermal furnace-tempering after
winding are used for the SCHRAMM pocket spring mattress GRAND CRU
N°1. They are resistant to fatigue and over-stressing – worldwide unique.
A pocket spring core composed of thermal furnace-tempered springs has
a considerably stronger reset force, thus representing a memory, and is
not subject to wear.
Contrary to this, the sleep quality offered by a sleep system composed of
untempered springs will definitely decrease even if a tremendous amount
of padding materials is used. Depending on individual weight, weight
distribution and sleeping habits, springs of varying strength are active
inside a SCHRAMM mattress.
And because each individual 6-/9- or 12-coil spring is hand-sewn into
its own pocket, it can respond almost independently from the adjacent
springs, closely molding itself to the contours of the body and conform
