Only springs which have undergone a oven tempering after wind-
ing are used for the SCHRAMM pocket spring mattresses GRAND
CRU N°1, DIVINA, MYTHOS and HEAVEN. They are resistant to
fatigue and overstressing – worldwide unique. A pocket spring core
composed of oven tempered springs has a considerably stronger
reset force, thus representing a memory, and is not subject to wear.
Contrary to this, the sleep quality offered by a sleep system com-
posed of untempered springs will definitely decrease even if a tre-
mendous amount of padding materials is used. Depending on in-
dividual weight, weight distribution and sleeping habits, springs of
varying strength are active inside a SCHRAMM mattress.
And because each individual 6-/9- or 12-coil spring is hand-sewn
into its own pocket, it can respond almost independently from the
adjacent springs, closely molding itself to the contours of the body
and conform to body movements. This is pure individualism for
highest sleep culture.
Of course, the endless spring rows of the SCHRAMM base mat-
tresses have undergone a thermal furnace tempering, too.
