Three-mattress system
The three-mattress system of the product line GRAND CRU by SCHRAMM
combines innovation and masterful craftsmanship. The base, the DI-
VAN, consists of a solid wood frame with oven-tempered waist springs,
which are strapped and laced using traditional techniques and distribute
pressure evenly. The point-elastic SILHOUETTE intermediate mattress
with sturdy six-turn cylinder springs ensures durability and comfort. The
crowning glory is the GRAND CRU N°1 top mattress, whose high-quality
cylinder springs have twelve turns. The longer spring travel ensures that
every movement is absorbed particularly gently.
Toppers / mattress covers
SCHRAMM mattress covers can significantly increase individual well-
being and provide additional hygienic protection for the mattress. Our
mattress covers are not washable (except Lotus Light).
Transporting the SCHRAMM mattress
Use the handles to lift, turn or carry the mattress. If you grab the mattress
by the upholstered surface and pull it towards the centre of the mattress,
the sheep‘s wool, which is not glued to the upholstery for functional rea-
sons, may shift under the cover and form unsightly bulges.
Turning the SCHRAMM mattress
During the first year, turn your new mattress lengthwise approximately
once a month to ensure that the weight of your body is distributed evenly.
This allows both sides of the mattress to be used equally. After that, the
mattress should be turned at least four to six times a year. → Breaking in

Ticking
Ticking is one of the most durable mattress cover fabrics. The SCHRAMM
MYTHOS mattress is covered with a ticking made of 63 % viscose and
37 % cotton. The DIVINA mattress has a ticking made of 100 % viscose,
a fine, very soft and dense fabric. The ticking fabric on the GRAND CRU
N°1 mattress is made of 87 % cotton and 13 % silk. The ticking fabric
on the EMOTION, EMOTION LUXE and HEAVEN mattresses is made
of 62 % cotton and 38 % viscose, a very fine yet dense fabric. Under-
mattresses have a ticking made of 100 % cotton. SCHRAMM tickings are
licensed according to ‘STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®’. The ticking of
the ANTHEA natural mattress is made of 59 % hemp from certified orga-
nic cultivation and 41 % cotton from certified organic cultivation.
