STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®
Tested and certified materials are subject to the guidelines of the ‘Inter-
national Association for Research and Testing in the Field of Textile Eco-
logy’ (OEKO-TEX®) and meet all the requirements of the ‘STANDARD 100
by OEKO-TEX®’ quality seal. As part of the OEKO-TEX® testing for textile
articles used in close contact with the skin, bedding and bed linen are
checked for specific requirements such as the exclusion of allergenic di-
sperse dyes, strict regulation of formaldehyde and good colour fastness
(especially sweat and rub fastness). The pH value is also skin-friendly.
We attach great importance to ensuring that the materials we use in pro-
ducts that come into contact with the skin comply with this standard. All
our mattresses carry the ‘STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®’ label.
Stone washed – Used look & Vintage
These fabrics undergo special finishing processes in which the textile
surface is roughened to create a special and unique appearance. The
natural thickness of the base fabric is more pronounced. The special
process results in lighter and darker stripes typical of the product, as
seen, for example, in stonewashed jeans. Colour variations are possible
from batch to batch. Every bed covered with these fabrics is unique. The
fabric properties mentioned above do not constitute grounds for comp-
laint.
Sustainability
We source our wood from sustainable forestry. Naturally grown wood is
not a synthetic material. Each trunk is different in colour and structure,
which can lead to variations. The natural or coloured woods are protec-
ted with a colourless silk matt varnish or a natural wood effect varnish,
Naturo matt. Depending on the lighting conditions, the wood surface
may darken differently over time. Natural variations and darkening pro-
cesses do not constitute grounds for complaint.
