All Scandola Mobili’s collections are made
entirely of solid wood. Wood is a pre-
cious, age-old material that stays alive;
ours conveys the typical, mellow warmth
of handcrafted wood to the touch. Natural
solid wood produces protective, reassuring
emotions because it is deeply embedded in
our biological memory. Not all wood species
are suitable to make products designed to
last or to be employed for our furniture.
We only source and choose the best wood
from selected forests. We want our raw
materials to come from areas that respect
man and the environment, from ethically
responsible sources, cultivations that in-
crease the availability of forests instead of
depleting them.
Tutti i mobili delle collezioni Scandola sono
realizzati interamente in legno massello di
Abete. Il legno è un materiale nobile, antico e
sempre vivo che permette di esprimere negli
arredi la forza e la bellezza della natura. Il
legno massello naturale rivela emozioni pro-
tettive e rassicuranti che rendono unico ogni
mobile. Non tutti i legni sono adatti a realiz-
zare prodotti destinati a durare nel tempo e
ad essere impiegati nella fabbricazione di un
mobile Scandola. Ricerchiamo e selezioniamo
solo i legni migliori provenienti da foreste
scelte. Privilegiamo la provenienza delle
nostre materie prime da zone rispettose
dell’uomo e dell’ambiente; una provenienza
eticamente responsabile da coltivazioni che
non intaccano il patrimonio forestale, ma
che anzi ne incrementino la disponibilità.
