È il 1976 quando Carlo Scandola, da sempre innamorato del verde delle sue vallate, invece di dislocare in pianura
la sua attività produttiva per una maggiore facilità logistica, intuisce che è lì in montagna, dove vive la sua gente,
che può insegnare e trovare quella professionalità legata al sapere della tradizione. Sceglie quindi di sviluppare
la sua azienda a Bosco Chiesanuova, sui monti Lessini nei dintorni di Verona, a 1100 metri di altezza. La sua
è una scelta ardita, ma lungimirante, perché il suo paese non debba svuotarsi come successo a molti altri, ma
riesca a tenere presso di sé le forze più sane e vigorose.
It was 1976 when Carlo Scandola, who has always loved the lush greenery of his valleys, sensed that the area near
Verona, the Lessini mountains where his people lived, was the perfect place to teach and find the traditional skills he
wanted for his furniture business, regardless of the logistic problems this location entailed. This is why he decided to
make his business grow in Bosco Chiesanuova. This was a daring yet farsighted choice, aimed at helping the strongest
and healthiest workforce in his village decide to stay put instead of following the usual trend, abandoning their homes in
search of work elsewhere.
